Can be one of your own......bar.......restaurant.......

Golf tournament us idiots play in every year....we do cheeseburgers and bloody marys for breakfast the first day......mrschef makes these behemoth 16 ounce burgers with sharp cheddar, a fried egg, bacon, hashbrowns, a special hot sauce she made, ......just freaking incredible.

I about had to dislocate my jaw in order to eat it.
My nipples get hard each time I think about it.

I've eaten a lot of burgers across this great land, and that takes the top of the heap, and it's not close.

    Looked something like this.

I can't choose between the four best I've ever had: Husk in Charleston, B Spot in Cleveland, Au Cheval in Chicago and Workingman's Friend in Indianapolis. They're all perfect and slightly different. If I had to choose I'd probably go with the cheeseburger at Husk, but I was five barrel-aged Manhattans in — so my tastebud memories could be off.

I've heard of Husk. Don't they update their menus daily?.......This is it and that's that?......

Yes. Reservations can be tough to get during busy times, but the bar is located next door to the restaurant and you can walk in and get a burger and a bourbon.

I can't remember the name of the place, but I had a bison burger at some joint in Colorado Springs that was heavenly.

Locally, Ray's Hell Burger in Arlington is always good in a pinch.

It's right in my little burg -- The Jackson House in Harrisburg, Pa.

Place is a hole in the wall, and open only from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Little bit of a Soup Nazi vibe; you'd better know your order when you get to the window.

But the meat is the best imaginable and falls apart, the cheese oozing down through the burger. Rolls shipped in daily from south Philly. It melts in your mouth. It is nirvana.

Keifer's in downtown Jackson, Mississippi. One of those places that is only open 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Can be crowded when the state legislature is in session. Worth the wait.

Port of Call in N.O. was pretty great, but the Luger's burger is the best that I've had.
