All that strategy out the window ... but for a tire, the grip was lost

 

Can we get a feed of FOX and NASCAR execs watching the ratings needle sink to new depths now that Kyle Busch and Dale Jr. wrecked out two hours before the end?

 

Not so fast. Danica is up front. Switch the demographic to 10-year-old girls.

 

And there goes Johnson, Hamlin, Harvick and Danica and we've got 70 laps to go.

 

And for the record to those who weren't watching, it wasn't her. Johnson, running third at the time, was the victim of bumper cars with McMurray and Bayne going into Turn 3.

 

Fuckin' Logano's gonna win now. Just what I hoped for. #gagme

 

There's going to be about three cars on the track at the end of this thing and we're going to wind up adding Cole Whitt's name to the illustrious roster of Daytona 500 winners.

 

There goes Keselowski, Chase Elliott and about eight other middle-of-the-pack guys as former Daytona 500 champion Jamie McMurray has run over more cars than a monster truck today.

 

Nice guy...can't stand him.

 

Me neither ... although he ain't looking so strong all of a sudden.
