He's going to get that third term yet, even if he has to use leaks to undermine Trump.

Interesting. As I understand it, the HBCUs haven't been doing so hot of late (say, since 2008) and are thrilled by Trump's plans for them.

Trump could arrange for you to win the fucking lottery and you'd bitch about it.

Trump could order the entire families of some posters deported and they would try to find a way to spin it.

Please understand that is not a defense of Starman, who has become so ridiculous that I don't bother to read his posts any more (amazing how easy that is to do even without the button).

Just saying there is ridiculous bias on both sides.

No,no, no. Water from all freshwater ditches and ponds have a drainage to somewhere. So if the owner of the property pollutes the ditch or pond some of the pollution is going downstream all the way to the ocean or to the Great Salt Lake.

An example of the environmental problems is this. Due to the increase use of phosphorus when farmers fertilize has lead to an increase to algae in Midwest lakes, leading many to become unswimmable. For example last year Grand Lake in Ohio, which I think is the largest man lake in the Midwest, had levels of a potent nerve toxin that exceeded was four times the safety thresholds of the World Health Organization. This is also a big problem on Lake Erie and a couple years ago Toledo had to stop residents from drinking the water for a couple days.

There is also a large dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico at the mouth of the Mississippi because of the phosphates and nitrogen from fertilizers draining into the Gulf.

The "New Federalism", where EPA Chief Pruitt wants to work with the states to develop solutions is probably doomed to failure. Basically upstream states don't give a damn about downstream problems. For example, the states and province that border Lake Erie had a conference on the problem. Substantial amounts of the phosphorus comes down the Maumee River from Indiana farmland into Lake Erie. But Pence would not even send an observer to the conference.

Trump wants to give back some of the environmental gains of the 70's and 80's.

It's him or Warren ... unless @Alma or @MisterCreosote throws a hat in the ring. Then all bets are off, baby!

That's why the EPA really should exercise oversight over all properties, privately owned or not ... amirite?
