    Apparently, no MRI until tomorrow.

Last quarter was pretty good. Wizards will be a tough out.

Per Twitter, Warriors now leaning toward signing Matt Barnes instead of Jose Calderon. Again, no info on the MRI, if it's even been done yet, but sounds like they're telegraphing something with this possible move.

Though it makes perfect sense to sign Barnes, especially after Durant got hurt, I wish there was someone else to bring in. I haven't liked Barnes for a while. He just seems to look for trouble. Obviously the Dubs aren't seeking out Barnes unless they really need him, I just wish they didn't really need him.

If this basketball thing doesn't work out, maybe Barnes and Green can form a tag team.

I love Kerr and Curry and Livingston and most of the Warriors, but I loathe Barnes. May just have to look away for the next month or so.

Not sure what it says about the NBA when Barnes is your best option available on March 1.

It says that it is the middle of the season and all of the good players are already on teams.

Four weeks from today is March 29. The regular season ends April 12.
The Warriors have 8 games between the two dates, so even if Durant is ruled good to go on the 29th, he's likely to be a bit rusty in the first round of the playoffs.

He's going to be rusty if he "only" plays eight games before the playoffs?

He'll probably have lost some game conditioning, since an MCL injury limits what you can do for workouts.

And that all presumes he comes back on 3/29 ready to go 30+ minutes.

It may not be a big deal, but it'll probably matter.

It won't matter. The knee will matter. His overall conditioning after eight games back won't matter. Do you really think NBA players are still not ready to play and "working their way back into it" after 2-3 weeks on the court?
