They're ground to pretty fine tolerances. A guy can be in "game shape" and his game isn't in shape at all.

    Not after three weeks.

Durant played 37 minutes on opening night of the regular season. He didn't need until the middle of November to be game-ready. I think he's going to be in OK shape by the playoffs if he is back on the court in four weeks.

I'd be more concerned that the knee isn't all that healed and it's going to limit his game. That plagued Curry throughout the playoffs and was probably the ultimate reason they lost.

Deron Williams is a good get for the Cavs.

I've never been a huge fan of Barnes' antics on the court and his apparent desire to be the worst version of a "gnat" but what is now probably 10 yrs ago, I was in the arena club near the locker room after a game having a post game cocktail and he walked in, he couldn't have been nicer to the people around, taking photos with them and chatting them up. Seemed just like a great guy. So I'm giving him credit for that (and his calling Derek Fisher on Fisher's d*ck move.)

Guy that qtlaw doesn't like joins Warriors and becomes guy that qtlaw likes. I'm shocked.

Just a reminder. Today is 55th anniversary of Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game. A record that will never be broken unless they come up with a six-point shot.

    Someone will score 100 again.

Only if LaVar Ball gets a coaching job.

If Kobe Bryant could "only" get to 81 points in his prime on a bad team, 100 seems almost impossible.

I'd figure Kobe was about the best candidate for 100: a guy who could go to the hoop, score inside, score on some rebounds and also hit the 3.

LeBron's career high is 61. I think he'll get a 70-point game someday but that'll be it. Curry's high is 54; he doesn't score inside but he could go crazy and hit 20 3's in a game sometime.

Maybe somebody will try the Loyola Marymount/Grinnell system where one guy just stays at one end and shoots 3's.
