Because Trump simplistically looks at the problem through the eyes of a 3-year-old.

 

Because the vast majority of them are quietly minding their own business, posing no harm to society (and definitely more than a little good) except in the minds of bigoted white people.

 

Because some people come here, work hard and contribute to the society. If they "followed the rules" they'd still be back home.

There are about 11 million of these folks. If you want to send the rapists and gang members back, fine. But trying to send everyone back would be like a police department spending all its time arresting jaywalkers. They would not have time or resources for bank robbers.

 

He's been charged with 8 calls. We don't know how many he made.

Could be a lot more.

Fact is, the only one arrested for this crime so far is a liberal democrat, and there's no evidence anyone "inspired" by Trump is responsible for any calls.

 

No one believes law enforcement will hunt down every single one of those 11 million -- or will even try to do that. But when someone in the country illegally is identified as such by or to a law enforcement agency, should the law not be enforced?

 

Hard to tell who is a rapist and gang member if anyone is allowed to enter without some kind of process.

 

Nobody is disputing that, but the point YF is making, one that President Trump has made, goes beyond the law.
