Best Mexican Food you've ever had

Just as "Mexican" as the crap at most "Mexican" restaurants. But on the serious side, the food here is very similar.

 

Just ate a plate of street tacos from a place here called La Estrella........which is Spanish I think for "damn good tacos."

Very good.

Simple. 5 double-layered tortillas......steak and cilantro.......2 limes........green-chili salsa if you want.
Damn good.

 

There was a place in Northwest Arkansas which had a radio spot that said, "Real Mexican food! ... Prepared by real Mexicans!"

 

That actually sounds amazing.

Also, I was making a small pun with the name of the restaurant

 

It's very good. Don't go overboard with the cilantro. Tortillas are just the right size. (Prolly a 6-inch tortilla.)
6.82 for 5. Can't beat that. Good people too.

Many years ago on a long bus ride back from a cross country meet in Levelland somebody turned on the radio and we were confused to hear these guys talking about white faces this, white faces that. Turned out it was a Hereford High football game and then it made sense.
