Ah, but asking most Republicans to say that is like those who declined to point out the emperor has no clothes.

 

Even under the Trump plan, costs will go up. It's inevitable. Can anyone think of anything that's gone down in price lately?

 

Even though he brought it up in a totally cringeworthy manner that suggested he was more interested in running a protection racket, Trump wandered onto a good point about how much more we pay for military defense than the rest of the world.

But instead of following through on this philosophy in his budget proposal, instead he wants giant increases in defense spending, because military dominance is emotional Viagra to authoritarians and Republicans (which haven't merged completely but draw ever closer with each passing day.)

 

You are still expecting philosophical consistency from Trump?

 

Yep, that's what Paul Ryan and his gang believe. Can't afford it. Tough shit. You die.

Ryan is definitely a monster. Much worse than Trump. He has no problem cutting taxes for the wealthy and effectively killing people by taking away their insurance. What a piece of shit.
