No link, my theory based on 2010 midterm results. If it didn't hurt him a lot or even a little, it sure didn't help him.

We couldn't talk tough and "bomb the shit" out of Katrina or the Deepwater Horizon for hurting us.

    No boogeyman, no presidential bounce.

Depending on the metrics used, they might be making that claim off sales to second-tier discounters. Record sales at 80-percent off, for example, instead of retail to the consumer.

Sean Spicer on Wikileaks: "This is the kind of disclosure that undermines our country, our security and our well-being."

The president on Wikileaks during the campaign: "I love Wikileaks."

Hypocrisy is not a one-way street.

To be fair, I don't think anyone needs to solely love what Wikileaks does, nor solely hate what Wikileaks does. One can responsibly say that one data dump is appropriate and enhances governmental transparency while another data dump can pose a danger to national security without being labeled a hypocrite.

Funny how wikileaks can data dump repeatedly on the U.S. but does not seem to have anything to say about any number of nations who are bad actors.

Did the people who jumped Obama's shit every hour of every day for eight years really think people on the other side were just going to stay quietly in the corner and play cribbage when their guy was at bat?
