That is a deferral of your taxes. Every dollar you defer through a 401k deduction will count as income. It may be decades from now, and at a different tax rate, but you are deferring those taxes, not eliminating them.

 

Yeah, if you cherry pick it right, you can get all the sentences about how it does not prove anything, and avoid all the ones that talk about how odd it is, and how the forensic computer guys have been and continue to dig at it his server and try to figure out what's going on.

 

As if anybody with 1/10th of a functional brain doesn't already know what's going on.

Frankly, and this sure isn't going to satsify either side of the coin, anyone who spends an inordinate amount of their time wrangling over the abortion issue is pretty boring. People who chain themselves to abortion clinic front doors need more of a life. So do people who protest against them.

 

In your example, I'm not sure these are the people who need more of a life.

For all of the RUSSIA!!! talk, there's not only no evidence of wrongdoing, there's not even unified claim of what wrongdoing may have happened.

It's not even clear if some of the allegations would constitute wrongdoing.

It's a total fishing expedition. Dems want investigations, but they have nothing to base such an investigation on.

The lack of evidence itself is cited as the reason why an investigation is necessary. If that's the standard, then we should also have investigations into voter fraud, and the allegation that "Obama tapped Trump's phone".
