Johnny Jones finally got fired by LSU today. I think the general response has been, "Wait, he was still here?"

I wonder if he gets another year if not for Simmons. He'd never been worse than 19 wins before this, but last year obviously left a bad taste.

 

Maybe they can hire a former Bulls coach at Illinois to go along with Lovie for football.

If Illinois doesn't get a big name, then they're back to MACation for the next coach.

 

Funny how within one year, Ben Simmons hasn't played in a single NBA game and Johnny Jones gets fired

 

As did 20 losses and a last-place finish this year.

 

And an average attendance you could count up with your shoes on.

Not sure which rings thread to post this in, but Indiana literally turned down a home NIT game out of concerns that Assembly Hall would be empty, what with spring break and all.

So seriously, wtf? How is Tom Crean still employed if they're that worried about what a nationally televised game on campus would look like?
