Now that Oregon has finished off Cal, we'll see if the Pac-12 champ bumps Gonzaga down to a 2-seed. I think UCLA and Oregon have a strong argument.

Probably not a big deal either way, since both will be out west. Zags likely headed to Salt Lake City regardless; Pac-12 champ to Sacramento.

I'm not usually on the West Coast bias bandwagon, but I don't see why it should be automatic that a seven-loss Carolina gets a top seed and three elite teams on the West Coast have to fight it out for a single No. 1 slot just because of geography.

I have been known to bring up West Coast bias ... but it's hard to argue against the nation's top-ranked team (and defending champ) and the regular-season champions of the country's two toughest conferences. There's really five teams with good claims to No. 1 seeds this year ... so two of them will end up in the same region.

Lunardi has Oregon as a 2 and Arizona and UCLA as 3's right now, which seems...off. UCLA is 29-3 with nothing even resembling a bad loss and road wins at Kentucky and Arizona. That seems better than a 3 to me.

The OOC SOS is a killer for UCLA.

Give Iowa State a watch tonight. Can't defend but they ran ball screens and play fast. They're exciting.

Of course they'll play themselves out this week and having nothing left for Thursday in the first round but they're fun.

Watching SportsCenter a few minutes ago and they were taking seeds with Bilas and Jay Williams arguing Duke deserves a 2 over Oregon, mostly because Duke has had injuries in some of their losses. Of course they never mentioned that Dillon Brooks was injured in half the Ducks' losses. Maybe ESPN should consider hiring a few more non-Dukies as talking heads. At the very least swapping Miles Simon for Williams would add a different perspective. Plus he's just better.
