If you gave Duke's blind resume to Miami or Virginia Tech, ESPN wouldn't piss on it if it caught fire.

It would be an interesting experiment to take a group of people with college basketball experience, give them blind resumes of all the teams and have them create a tournament draw.

That's how Tennis Magazine does its racket testing. Paints 'em all black, then has all the playtesters rate them.

Not a bad way to do it at all.

Paging @Songbird - why is Vermont shortened to UVM? Surely there aren't a bunch of branch campuses in a state that small.

University of Verts (green) Monts (mountains) ... etymology of it goes back a long way.

Committee should fuck with Boeheim in his swan song and match the Orange up with UVM if the Cats win right now.

It's from its Latin name, which English translation is 'University of the Green Mountains.' 'Green' in Latin is something like 'verde.'

Maybe that dream the other night about Boeheim and Coppenrath was a premonition and it *will* be UVM-Cuse.

Have we gotten to the bottom of why dickhead Sean Miller called timeout with .9 left last night?

Duke's got 12 top-50 RPI wins (most in the country), four top-10. They've got two losses outside the top 50, one outside the top-100, only four outside the top-12.

    Oregon's got four top-50, one top-10. Losses to 96 and 107.

HOW DARE THEY ARGUE THAT THING!!!
