If you do not already know the answer to this question, you never will. Jesus, forgive me.

My cable bill was running right around $147 five-plus years ago when I cut the cord. It had everything to do with the price of cable and not the content. So you are dead right correct on your bet for the majority of cord-cutters.

Also, because of cable TV's greed, I'm now in the best shape and physically the healthiest I've been in my entire life since I spend the majority of my free time working out. The icing on the cake is I've pocketed about $9,849 in savings. Thank you Suddenlink!

Plus, if there is a game you really want to watch, you've got the sports bar option.

This is my approach to bowl season, when almost all the bowl games are on the Endless Self Promotion Network.

Unfortunately, the last time I did that, Christian McCaffrey was running for about 500 yards against the Hawkeyes ... At least the sports bar had good pizza!

Shoot, for the amount of money you'd spend in a sports bar eating and drinking over the course of a 3 1/2-to-4-hour game, you might as well buy a ticket and go.

You don't eat and drink at the game?

Just saying, you can ring up a pretty big tab during a 4-hour game. Otherwise, you risk getting the stink eye from staff/management if you're not eating or drinking enough.

Oh no, not the dreaded look of condescension from management for not drinking enough to the point of being overserved

Spend the first quarter deciding and finally ordering a drink.

Place a food order at halftime, plus second drink.

Maybe a third drink to start the third quarter.

Works better for two hour games (lacrosse, Mbb - halves of course), than football and the dreaded long ass baseball game.

BTW, multiple Coke refills piss off servers more than actually ordering stuff that increases their tip.

But in all cases like this, remember the waitresses!!!

God no. What am I, a Walton heir? Take care of that shit beforehand, then eat a good meal (for the same money you'd have spent on a burger, nachos and Coke at the sportsball arena) afterwards.

Bought this device called the Matricom G Box on Amazon a few years ago. It's pretty tech-heavy to set up, but once it's up and running, I can get all the sports, TV shows and movies I want for free via wifi. I may not get my home announcers every time, but I at least get the broadcast, and I am not paying $140 a month for that privilege. I also get the opportunity to watch sports around the world, and the other day it was a random League One matchup between Swindon Town and Gillingham, followed by Snooker, just because I could.

Mike & Mike this morning had Bomani Jones on and opened the segment by asking him about his tweets yesterday.
