In politics that affects people, Congressional Budget Office says Trump-Ryan bill will cause 24 million to lose health insurance in next decade, 14 million of them before the 2018 midterms. Not a good score, that.

So, let me see if I can understand this.

According to Kellyanne, the government can spy on me through my microwave oven?

I guess they're really going to come after me for eating too much popcorn.

EDIT: Deskgrunt beat me to it.

Depends. At Mar-a-Lago, -24,000,000 is probably three shots short of Donald's course record.

Not enough. Especially not on enough Republican Senators and Congresspeople who have to run for re-election. Also, in a splendid display of message discipline, Ryan tweeted out that the CBO vindicated him at the same time HHS Secretary Price was denouncing the CBO. Basically, these guys are just not too bright.

    "Add 24 Million Uninsured"? No.

Taking away the mandate would probably reduce that number by even more. There's a YUGE difference between people who want it losing their insurance and people who don't no longer having to buy insurance. How the numbers break down across those lines, I don't know, but framing it as the plan will kick 24 million people off insurance who have no other choice is disingenuous. Some might even call it fake.

I miss the other thread. It was so much more civil.
