    I do not believe that someone who says, "These fucking premiums wipe out every cent of my discretionary income and don't allow me to save a penny" and thus declines insurance is automatically being "foolish." Young or old.

    At some point you have to do the math and consider the possibility that, depending on your situation, perhaps it would be better to simply save for a rainy day (or a hospital stay) as best you can and just roll the dice that you won't be rendered bankrupt by medical issues --- as opposed to being rendered bankrupt by medical premiums.

    When does the consumer get to say, "Enough!" ?
