    The thing is, how do they know you can't pay before they treat you? And no, not having insurance doesn't mean you can't pay for something (see post below).

    ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME!

    I'll write a check for any routine (and even not-so-routine) care if I have to. $1,000, $5,000, $10,000, whatever.

    Just give me a LOW-cost policy for the $50,000+ shit, and I'm good.

    Routine care like a physical? I just had one done and it was completely covered. Had I been uninsured, it would've cost more than $500. That's almost three months of basic insurance premiums for four people.
