Jaws of life, Life Flight, trauma center, a month in a coma in Neurointensive care, three months in a rehab hospital for his crushed legs, a year and several months in a wheelchair.

The bill for his IV meds alone in the ICU that first month was almost $200k.

Yeah, save your money against the evil day, because insurance is a luxury and you don't really need it.

Health care needs to be fixed so that it is not a profit center, because any of us may need it, today, tomorrow, next week, next year. It's not a luxury. If you don't have it because you can't afford it, you're the reason that the system needs to be fixed.
