    No.

No that's really not worse than Trump.

Because you don't live in any of those countries we fuck up. Or know any people there.

If you are a retired citizen of Ukraine and happen to reside in the Donbass region, you have not received your government pension in two and a half years. That's our U.S.-NATO-backed government at work.

I'd say that's worse than the Meals on Wheels brouhaha.

The loser is always said to have run a bad campaign, whether or not he/she did. John McCain got ripped for his campaign when the fundamentals were so against him getting what he did was an accomplishment. She did get more votes than any of the other candidates, so she wasn't THAT unpopular. If Warren is the Democratic nominee in 2020 (I don't think so, but it's a possibility) she will be criticized on sexist grounds (strident, bitchy, etc.) as Clinton was.

Yes. In a choice between Trump and Clinton, Trump is the obvious choice.

Eichenwald is one of hundreds of journalists covering these topics. He's unethical. He's a proven liar.

Unless the choice is between Eichenwald and Hillary Clinton, it's easy to dismiss him.

Everything you post is based on the conspiracy theory that the US is responsible for the coup in the Ukraine rather than it being a product of the people's will. No, the United States (while it had invested billions in the pro-Democracy movement) did not force people to the streets to chase away Yanukovich nor is it to blame for the three years of war in Donbass. Are you getting this from Oliver Stone?

Trump didn't, and couldn't, eliminate a network of local charities.

Maybe Glenn should have fact checked this thinly sourced report, instead of passing it along:

A joint news conference aside, Tillerson spent almost 2 1/2 hours with Japanese Foreign Minister Kishida including a dinner, and another hour with Prime Minister Abe. But his meetings with Yun and Hwang were each confined to about an hour, without a lunch or dinner gathering. Seoul officials said the US side opted not to have a meal together, citing the secretary’s “fatigue.”

Well, this is the sort of thing that happens when the Secretary of State travels without reporters. The news comes from the government of the country he's in. And as was said in "Yes, Minister," "the first rule of politics is not to believe anything until it has been officially denied."

I understand this, but fact checking Glenn, of all people, shouldn't be passing along thinly based reports, coming from anonymous sources.

The WaPo didn't report this, but Glenn uses Twitter to pass it along.

    It's really pretty disgraceful.

The Post has the resources to report this story themselves if true. And a fact checker could have asked the State Department for a response before spreading an unconfirmed report.

You can't trust the libruhl Korean media!

(Is this the trip where only a reporter from a whackadoo site is on it?)
