That's fair. Smackdown is doing great right now. Instead of screwing it up, they should just improve Raw.

Doing that, though, means Stephanie putting her ego aside and getting the hell off TV. While Monday's segment was pretty good, what does it say about the show that the ending has to involve McMahon power drama again?

 

Raw was just ok. Not as bad as in previous weeks.

SmackDown is on fire. I like how Ambrose was actually held off TV to sell the injury. Who does that anymore? Nearly 20 years ago, guys would get the shit beaten out of them and be off TV. Triple H once skipped a Raw because he was "in traction" after a Hell in a Cell. These days, these fucking guys just bounce right back. There's no long-term selling anymore. Can't afford to keep anyone off TV for a week. Good for SmackDown.

How convenient that the Caddy had a video camera in the back window?

Is the cameraman who accompanied Bray to the burned out husk of the compound going to be fine? Did he make it back to work? Is he missing? Has Bray eaten his soul? Bah gawd, that cameraman has a family!

Is the Miz wearing a double-breasted vest with a single-breasted jacket? Is that allowed? Any suit guys wanna weigh in on this?

 

Am I the only one hoping against hope that Bray doesn't do the job at Mania?

They didn't care about paying off PPV's. They cared about making you tune in on Monday night so you could figure out what the hell happened and win the ratings that week.

Reby Hardy went off on TNA on Twitter again. It's fun stuff, especially how she says her dad never was paid, and how if TNA owned their gimmick then they violated child labor laws when the Hardys' kid appeared on TV.

 

Alright I'll go there......we will never see Paige in a WWE ring again, but how much does this blow back on Xavier Woods and is New Day's Mania hosting gig nuked now?

 

I don't know if Paige gets much heat for this. Rollins had dick pics put out there by his ex-girlfriend, and he didn't get in trouble that we know of. She may not end up back in a WWE ring for a variety of reasons, but the E isn't going to want to be accused of a double-standard with gender discrimination if they punish her over this.

As far as Xavier goes, I'm thinking that they'll give him some heat, but, like Rollins, they won't really punish him (although I could be wrong). It's not like he put the photos out there himself. Heck, I could even see a brief New Day joke about it (like you just never know what will be on the Internet).

One other aspect is that, sometimes, it's hard to separate the character from the real-life person. You get these kiddie-friendly characters, and you forget that they're real adults who like to get laid just as much as any of us.

Although I fully expect to be traumatized when Bayley pics show up with her wearing nothing but her ponytail.
