Seriously, how can we even be talking about that when there are Clintons still alive?

Nobody buys this particular false equivalency. Sorry, you'll need to do better.

Never saw that in Clinton. Saw some flaws, but never anything in the same stratosphere as Donald Trump. Just don't know where you get it from, YF.

You don't think she's a liar, paranoid, or both?

I can't imagine that you've missed all the evidence that she's a liar.

Her paranoia and lying go hand in hand.

But the Clintons' past history with transparency (not good) when coupled with their response to this incident (also, not good) plays into one of the ongoing narratives of this presidential race: You simply cannot trust Hillary Clinton to tell you the whole truth.
    ...

There is a line that runs through all of Clinton's issues — her private email server, the Clinton Foundation and now her health — in this race. And it is an obsession with secrecy driven by a paranoia of the media.

Hillary's allies and supporters know she's paranoid, and has been for over 20 years.

Clinton Foundation head Donna Shalala privately expressed concerns about Bill and Hillary Clinton’s mental state in the mid-1990s, saying they had become “paranoid” and fixated on “right-wing conspiracies,” according to previously unpublished audio recordings obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

In 1994, four years before Hillary Clinton said a “vast right-wing conspiracy” was trying to take down her husband’s presidency, top aide Shalala said this theory was already embraced by the Clintons.

“They’ve become paranoid. Paranoia. Thinking people are out to get them, this right-wing conspiracy stuff,” said Shalala, who was the head of Health and Human Services during the August 1994 interview.

YF, yes, she's a liar and paranoid about the press. Are you happy now?

Donald Trump would say something in a speech. There would be videotape of what he said, with clear audio. The next day, when questioned about the quote, he would look at the reporter and say "I never said that."

I'm sorry, but that's simply another league from a lying politician. He lies when the truth would do, or when the statement could be explained away. He lies like a five year old with peanut butter all over his face and t-shirt - "No, mama, I didn't get into the peanut butter".

He is a world class liar and bullshit artist, which is bad enough - but he's also the President, which means that the time is going to come when he needs to tell the American public, or Britain, or North Korea, something and they'll need to believe him. If you lie often enough, no one will believe you, and that's Trump in a nutshell. And he's still insisting that Obama bugged Trump Tower, without the smallest shred of evidence.
