QYFOS doesn't even understand cisforkoke's latest lazy bullshit, but he'll like anything he even thinks is negative about me.

Seriously, ci, you might as well go back to posting "Eh?" over and over again.

Is that the standard now? Bosses can only hold their employees to whatever level of competence they had at that age?

    Perhaps.

But you have no idea how that government works. You think, "He's a dictator, and what he says goes."

    And that's complete bullshit.

Putin is working under the same constitution formed in 1993 under Yeltsin. In many ways the government is a bureaucratic mess much like ours can be. It has liberals in it, and it has a faction far more hawkish than Putin. Putin complains to advisers that he only gets about 30 percent of the things done that he wants to --- think Stalin had that problem?

The hawks in that government are as scary as our hawks (McCain, etc.) and want NO part of detente with the United States. Every time it has happened (Gorbachev, Yeltsin) has meant disaster. So Putin has to walk a delicate tightrope. He desperately WANTS cooperation with the West, for stability's sake above anything else. But if he is seen as the next Gorby or Yeltsin his support will evaporate and he won't get to choose when he leaves office (just like Gorby didn't choose, and Yeltsin didn't choose).

Being a hot blonde also doesn't hurt in Lahren's case.

    Stop defending yourself. It's boring.

No. But I'll bet Stalin complained about it. Kind of like Putin does.

In other news, you just mitigated the thuggery of Putin by comparing him to STALIN.

She never should have had the platform in the first place. She's 24. I'm not sure consistency, depth and thoughtfulness are hallmarks at that age.

    If you say so.

Simply was pointing out that he's not a dictator. I'm not the one clinging to decades-old stereotypes about how the Russian state is governed.

Is there any facet of policy where the Trump administration is actually competent? The damage that could be done by four years of Trump "deals" with China is immeasurable.
