    Not sure I get the "so many reasons to despise" thing but that's OK. You do you. I'm also not sure this is another reason. The D.C. team over the years has always invited the sitting president to throw out the first pitch. It's not the Nats' fault we somehow elected this guy. Not sure a sports franchise needs to make a political statement by saying, "Naw, we don't like this particular president."

    The bigger concern is this - if they want an out, maybe this is it. He got on them pretty good for the shutdown way back when
