FWIW, Flynn's lawyer was a publicly anti-Trump Republican during the campaign. Wrote in McMullin.

If this is meant to question my stance on this issue, you should do your homework. I think Gorsuch is qualified, and though it's shitty the seat was stolen from Obama, he should probably be confirmed. Keep the powder dry for the next open seat.

But this investigation needs to be completed now before he should be confirmed. If this administration gained power by illegal actions, nothing it does should be permanent.

Or, you know, LOL. The thoughtful response.

And two Dems came out today and said they would vote for him.

I really don't want to be like your side of the aisle was with Clinton and Obama but doesn't it seem a bit odd that all of these Trump associates "forgot" their contacts with Russians? Can you really say that Nunes has come across as above board during this situation? I originally assumed there was probably something here but nothing earth shattering but I now I'm thinking we might have a bombshell of some sort. Are you still confident this is a "nothing burger"?

I missed that. Nothing's done until a vote happens though.

It was such a wonderful moment, it needs to be remembered:

Better put that on the copy-and-paste board.

That's not the issue. Are there 41 Dems ready to filibuster? So far it looks like it. Won't stop the confirmation, but just another marker. Look, the question isn't whether Gorsuch is qualified, it's that Garland was qualified too and the Republicans were too chiekenshit to even vote him down in public. Also, Gorsuch nominated by President who may be traitor. We should clear that up first.
