What makes you think Pence would accept a job as a subordinate to a woman?

 

I'm running a 20x20 shop solely off solar now. Admittedly, it's not much - lights, stereo, fan, power tools and an air compressor. But the Goal Zero setup is working well. Plus I can disconnect the generator and carry it into the house when the power goes out during thunderstorms.

They make small and even micro wind turbines. I know a few guys who use them to power trickle chargers to keep their boat batteries topped off.

 

Or he'd invite a third person along.

Like I said, it's weird and very old fashioned. But the level of outrage is way too high for it.

 

Oh, I realized it was purely hypothetical.

 

Good for him though he needs to be extra careful to make sure that the women he works with are not put at a disadvantage.

 

I don't understand what makes that commendable. Can someone explain?

I suppose it's that I never thought I'd see a politician, let alone a President, who didn't at least give lip service to the offsetting of a big tax cut or new program. "We'll cut fraud and waste", some sort of fig leaf. Trump is willing to just blow it up - "Screw it, we need a big fat tax cut to jumpstart the economy, we'll fix the debt later. Bread and circuses all around!"

I wish that someone would put a bullet into Grover Norquist. That sumbitch has caused more trainwreck legislation than I can count.

 

Unfortunately, Ringling Brothers is closing up shop. They bowed to the elephant protesters, attendance went way down, and now, no more circus. Sad.

 

That's a pretty stupid reason. It suggests the predominant reason men and women would meet is because the guy is obviously trying to fuck the woman (or vice versa I suppose) and there couldn't be other legitimate reasons for meeting privately. It presumes a sense of guilt.
