    Hell, it isn't the Senate that I grew up with, let alone my father's. The Merrick Garland cockblock proved that.

    Or it means that they're not going to let him off the hook that easily. He better find something better to offer. Leavenworth does not sound like a fun place to live.

    Think that they'll wind up letting him through after posturing. I hope to hell that the filibuster rule does not get changed, or things will be even worse.

    On the other hand, punching a bully right in the mouth is both satisfying and productive.

    Actually, it likely means one of two things: Either you're right and he has nothing worthwhile for them to grant him immunity, or they already they have enough on him and those above him that they don't need his testimony.
