It was speculated in the Observer when the match was first talked about months ago - that the payoff was him proposing, and it would tie into Total Divas / Totally Bella / whatever the fuck its called.

Since I think everyone will say that Macho Man vs. Steamboat was the best match in WM history, I'll ask in your opinion what is the second best match in Wrestlemania history

I'll go with Hart vs. Austin - WM13.

Undertaker-Michaels I was the best match in Wrestlemania history.

Steamboat-Savage can be No. 2. The first TLC match should be up there somewhere, too.

Hart-Austin and the Michaels-Razor ladder match can round out the top 5.

What are the odds that Finn Balor has a role Sunday—maybe an impromptu challenge to winner of Lesnar/Goldberg and then title change a la Hogan/Yokozuna at Wrestlemania X?

I'd love to see it, but it would have to be a Money in the Bank situation for it to be somewhat believable with Balor.

Speaking of which, with an already busy card it certainly doesn't seem like we're going to have a ladder match this year. That's kind of a downer. Those are always fun.

Raw tag team title match is a ladder match.

Ah, missed that. I remember thinking that it would be a good fit for a ladder match, but didn't know they'd made it so. That should be different, and those six guys can probably pull it off well.

It wouldn't surprise me if Balor had a role or cameo at Mania. I would bet large sums of money on the latter thing you propose not happening though. In the past couple of months, WWE has made it pretty clear they view Lesnar and Goldberg as "special" compared to their actual wrestlers, and I think they're only losing to someone like Reigns, Styles, Triple H, maaayybeeee Rollins.

Some thoughts from the Hall of Fame....

DDP made me tear up a little.
Tony Chimmel cracks me up, still.
    Kurt cracks me up, still.
If anyone could be the best a reading a pair of teleprompters at the same time, it's Robert Gibson.
Now that Dean and Rene as a couple are part of TV, we should get more interaction where she just chides him for being a slob and a drunk. Surely, he was drunk again this year, right? It would be better than Total Bellas.

I also noticed that there were a lot of the women wrestlers in attendance for Beth's speech. A lot of the women that are shat upon for their shitty matches. And I heard some cattiness in the remarks, in real interviews found elsewhere and on the Red Carpet show.

Now that we've got back all these superstars, it'll be Kelly Kelly, Christie Hemme and Candice Michelle versus Molly Holly, Eve Torres and Beth Phoenix, in a SIX-WOMAN TAG TEAM MATCH, PLAYAS, TO DETERMINE THE LEAST SHITTY WOMEN OF THAT ERA OF WOMEN'S WRESTLING! HOLLA HOLLA HOLLA!

I could go for a Kelly Kelly vs. Candice Michelle vs. Christy Hemme whipped cream bikini match in a kids pool full of salad oil.
    You know, for nostalgia.

Molly could actually work very well, and Beth was OK. Eve was so-so and improved somewhat.

Not really. He was the first one to win the red belt, right? I may be forgetting, but did he ever get to to defend it before the injury? If no, they could use that and say he never got a rematch/another shot at the title.
