Clunkiest line of the night: "The widow's alive! With guns-ablazin'!"

I kind of wish he left it with a "The widow's alive GEEE-sus Christ!" or some itteration of that. I guess they can't drop an f-bomb on the show

Logic doesn't exist with tiger attacks.

"Holy shit! She's alive?!" would have sufficed.

Is that a complaint or a compliment?

Look, it was a tiger eating the face off of some MF'er and it was bad ass. Can we please not get caught up in the logic of a tiger in a zombie apocalypse eating the face off of some MF'er?

It was a complaint. I get why it was done and I understand Spartan's reaction, but it was just one way that last-minute rescue didn't make sense.

To use his words, was it bad-ass? Yes. Was it entertaining? Yes. Was it illogical? Without question.

    What's the Hollywood maxim?

If you show a tiger in the first scene, you better use it at the last second.

I would have rather seen Shiva used in the middle of the battle, perhaps protecting Ezekial. If she wasn't with him, how could he be sure she wouldn't maul the wrong person? It's not as if she knows everybody in Alexandria.

You are asking for common sense regarding a tiger in a zombie show. I'd settle for common sense regarding the humans.

Hey, let's make sure that we deploy these garbage people we barely know and who don't seem friendly at all so that they can have the drop on us. How about that?

That was a terrible decision by Rick and the way it played out made sense. Rick has made many terrible decisions. You could argue that trusting the garbage people was a mistake driven by desperation, but it was stupid. Rick and his group paid for that stupid decision. He lost people. He got shot. Michonne was badly beaten. The Saviors escaped the trap.

It was an illogical decision by Rick, but it fit the character and it played out in a way that made sense.

That is not true of what happened with the tiger. Yes, it is a ridiculous, unrealistic situation. It is science fiction, really. You don't have to play by our world's rules, but you the rules of the Walking Dead's world. It is basically our world, but with zombies. The problems often follow when the Walking Dead fails to play by its own rules.
