The tiger was stupid but cool. I could see it attacking anything in front of King Ez, though.

What would have been funny -- and realistic-- is if the king and crew showed up, and he let the tiger loose and yelled "Attack!" and it sat down and licked its paws.

Releasing a tiger is a good defense if you are being stalked by an assailant armed with raspberries.
Assuming you don't have a gun or a 16-ton weight.
    ... or a pointed stick.

Another thing: How come Maggie is supposed to be pregnant, and she keeps getting skinnier?

I seriously wondered if the actress has an eating disorder.

Maggie's monologue at the end was also laughable.
The core group is pretty far from heroic or noble. Very little distinguishes the Rick group from the Saviors.
And there are smart people in the Rick group. At what point will Maggie or Carol step up and publicly acknowledge that Rick is not good at this, that he is not a capable leader.
He is a capable tactician, as are many in the group, but he is a terrible strategist and a bad leader.
At some point, his people have to realize it.

If it turned out that tigers were immune to zombie bites, I would happily watch a Dead spin-off where it was nothing but tigers fighting zombies.

Better leader, Rick or the tiger?

I laughed when the first dead Alexandrian was wearing a red shirt. Not sure if this was on purpose, but I kind of hope it was.

My 17-year-old son started watching this year and even he said the last-second being saved thing is such a bad cliche. Sticking with the show, but not a solid season by any means.

Quite similar, actually. Both are dangerous in a fight. Both are willing to rip a guy's neck out with their teeth. I do think Shiva is better at judging character in new acquaintances.

I don't think there is a capable leader in that group (not that there are a lot of capable leaders anywhere in the Walking Dead universe). Rick may not be great, but it's not like that ragtag group of misfits is going to do any better.

I hope that Carol is the leader by the end, though at this rate I won't be watching any longer by then.
