I'd love to see a quote (from someone here, not some random moron on twitter) suggesting that the SOHR is "an impartial source of intel". Two of us quoted a news item sourced from them (which turned out to be right) and you promptly threw a conniption fit about it being a thin source and wanting confirmation. Confirmation came. Yes, it was a thin source, and I said as much - but you're acting as though it is being quoted as if it were the Times or the WaPo. You're taking a tiny scrap of fabric and manufacturing a king sized quilt.

 

This would be a much more solid argument if there hadn't just been a bunch of claims as to how it wasn't a thin source, etc.

 

The Jewish high holy days are Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur and they usually are scheduled in September and/or October.

Passover and Purim, while important holidays, are not the high holy days.

 

Fair enough.

The proper response there would be to admit your mistake. Fair enough suggests he made a decent subjective point, not that you made a clear factual error.
