The Trump administration apologizes to all Jewish Americans for Sean Spicer's mistakes yesterday. They are having all Jews in America wear a very tasteful yellow Star of David on their clothing to identify them for very special apologies at the new Trump American Resort and Holocaust Centers. Ivanka designed the tasteful stars, they are magnificent.

    1) In the same interview, he was talking down the dollar. ... which makes him a politician now, just like every other one who knows that they need the dollar manipulated weaker, so they can spend and try to buy popularity. China has been letting the yuan strengthen for the last few years (calling them a currency manipulator right now would be Kafkaesque), while the U.S. has done way more to manipulate its currency -- always trying to weaken it to beggar our neighbors. His rhetoric has been ridiculously beyond belief. Except the gullible public that falls for it is clueless.
    2) In the same interview, he said that he prefers a weak dollar. ... presidents just don't do that. It's like saying, "I prefer for everyone to have to pay more and more for their groceries." Except we have gotten so far into bizarro land that it doesn't even register with people anymore. Publicly, the president (and treasury secretary) are supposed to say they want a strong dollar (for obvious reasons), but privately they always do everything you can to weaken it so they can reap the political benefit -- spend wastefully to buy popularity. He also was hamhanded. He said he doesn't know if he will reappoint Janet Yellen .... but he likes the low interest rate environment (hint hint). Very subtle.

What a meatball this guy is. He is a bullshit artist. ... during the campaign he was on CNBC criticizing Yellen (correctly) for the shit show we now have -- a decade of ZIRP and all the asset buying that has destroyed the dollar and created a credit crisis in the future. ... Now he is just like every other politician. Anyone who bought his BS is smacking themselves on the forehead right now.

The big problem for him, though, is that OUR currency manipulation is on very borrowed time -- it has been for a couple of years already). We went decades creating a credit mess. ... and when it imploded a decade ago, they doubled down rather than dealing with the mess they had created in the first place (via OUR currency manipulation over the last couple of decades). That meant doing everything possible to weaken the dollar, which meant more and more debt.

Trump is too late to the party, and he may just be too dumb to understand it. He is going to be the shmuck sitting there when the bill comes due. We more than doubled our public and private debt levels over the last 8, 9 years. ... all because of what he is talking about. It's game over at some point in the not too distant future. But this idiot is hamhandedly lobbying for more of it and talking about all kinds of ridiculous spending as if we are living in 2003. ... as if we can keep borrowing endlessly and debasing the dollar to monetize all of the debt the way his predecessor got to.

If we're measuring credit ratings next, mine is suffering from shrinkage. It's just temporary.
