    Man, I was big on Larry going back to the late 70s.

    Didn't have a radio in my room at the time so sometimes I'd sit in the car and listen.

    Heard him tell the Sandy Koufax / Carvel story at one point and thought it was the coolest damn thing.

    Why does this surprise you? Fans defends blowhard coaches and players all the time without any logic.

    Politics is sports now. Has been for awhile, but it's even more so now. People embrace dumb things because "their side" does. YF's a fan. He's not objective.
