So you actually followed this case closely? Why?

Because it was on the news and it showed how fucked up Hernandez was. Did I think he did it? Yes. Did I think the Commonwealth proved its case? No.

So you just blindly throw out opinions on murder cases you know nothing about? Why?

I'm sure to CD. Since he's implying he didn't follow it closely.

Dan Wetzel covered the trial and thought he had a good chance of being found innocent.

    Or not guilty, at least.

I understand that two people were murdered, and as a society we should strive to find those responsible and punish them, but why are we arguing about a guy who's already doing life?

So we can somehow swing it around to making fun of Tim Tebow.

    Congratulations.
    You're found not guilty.
Enjoy spending the rest of your life in prison.

I wasn't following closely. Was this a case where they wanted to put him on trial in an attempt to send him to the death chamber?

Massachusetts doesn't have the death penalty. The second case gets tried, if it's a viable case, to get justice for the families of the victims and to ensure that if anything ever happens to the first case on appeal the killer remains in prison for life.

It's a little like the state playing with house money, but there is a reason behind it.
