Yes. Just finished it the other day. Pretty heavy stuff with damn good storytelling.

I'm six episodes in, and it's pretty damn compelling.

Big Little Lies anyone? Just finished the season on Sun with wifey. Nicole Kidman looked better than at any point previously IMHO.

GF really liked it and pretty much watched all of the first season live. I checked out after the spousal rape scene in the first episode.

    *spoiler alert*

there was a lot of that but he got his in the finale.

They are hot in talks to do a second season, although I don't know what it would be since it was based on a book and they covered the whole thing in the mini-series...

The 24: Legacy finale sucked ass.

So ... I should be glad I quit watching?

It would've been fine had I gotten even slightly invested in any of the characters. They tried to switch from "blow shit up and shoot people" in the first half to "nuanced emoting" in the second, but it only exposed how nondescript the characters were written to be.

And, the Tony-Carter thing that was portrayed as a centerpiece to the entire finale was dropped pretty clumsily after just a few minutes.

Exactly. This whole season really highlighted how awesome Kiefer Sutherland was in the role. He not only was badass, he had us caring about him and his family pretty much from the first episode.

Also, weren't the stakes incredibly low for a finale?

They were clearly banking on an emotional connection to Rebecca that just wasn't there.

And, forgot to mention this earlier, but you're going to tie up a terrorist mastermind and put him within arm's reach of a clearly visible gun just haphazardly left on the floor?
