I'm jealous bc you have a lot of good movies still to watch. Not all of those, but Jaws, Slapshot, Scarface, Rocky and Good Will Hunting are all great movies. Almost Famous is also a great movie. Hell, my friends used to give me shit bc I'd never seen The Three Amigos. Yeah, that's how much we used to watch movies. I finally saw it. Meh.

    Never seen:
    The Sound of Music
    Dr. Zhivago
Any of the Furious movies except the first one.
Lord of the Rings Return of the King
    none of the Iron Mans
none of basically any Marvel or DC Comics crap
any of the Star Wars movies after Return of the Jedi

Refused to watch Star Wars but relented when I was 30. Haven't seen any of the rest.

Any of the Fast and Furious.

    None of the Marvel/Superhero bullshit.

Every Harry Potter except the one with the stone.

Or was it Lord of the Rings with the stone?

Apocalypse Now fucking sucks. Along with Terms of Endearment, the two worst movies ever made.

If it's black and white and not Schindler's List or Clerks, I probably haven't seen it.

Haven't seen any of the Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter movies and the only seen part of one of the Fast/Furious movies -- no idea which one it was. There were car chases and bad acting, so take your pick.

I saw the first Fast/Furious because a scene was filmed near where I was working. I may have seen the second, but none since.

I think I saw one or two Harry Potters and one or two Lord of the Rings, but can't recall. That's how memorable they were.

Saw the original three Star Wars back in the day and the first new one -- but only because the woman I was dating wanted to go

How the hell do people see The Empire Strikes Back and not at least watch Return of the Jedi? I understand not liking those movies, or that type of movie, but stopping there I do not understand.

Anybody who likes action movies and passes on the first Iron Man, Avengers and Captain America: The Winter Soldier just because they want to think of it all as "Marvel crap" is doing himself or herself a disservice. The same is true for anyone who enjoys science fiction, but avoided Guardians of the Galaxy.

I haven't seen most of the Harry Potter movies. Watched a few because my daughter wanted to see them, but has no interest to continue when she stopped watching them.

Never seen Schindler's List, which I need to rectify.

Until the last 5-10 years, I hadn't seen many popular movies from before I was born. I was born late into John Hughes' hit streak, and while I grew up with the likes of Home Alone and Baby's Day Out, I hadn't seen any of his classics until recent years. Actually hadn't seen The Breakfast Club until a few weeks ago on HBO. Really happy I have -- Ferris Bueller, Uncle Buck, Planes, Trains and Automobiles... I'd really missed out. He's easily one of my favorite filmmakers.

Still haven't seen many popular older films, many of which have already been mentioned here. Taxi Driver, Lolita, Pulp Fiction, Chinatown, Apocalypse Now, Raging Bull, any of The Godfather movies, etc.

Good Will Hunting is not a great movie. It's a movie with some well written scenes that in total is emotionally manipulative with a comical protagonist.

    Almost Famous just regularly blows.

One of my parents' greatest gifts to me was an illegal and then insanely overpowered cable hookup in the late 80s and early 90s that made me more knowledgeable about obscure movies from that era than I have a right to be.
    That said, I've never seen:

    Any of the Godfather movies.
Any of the Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter movies.
    Citizen Kane
    Casablanca
Return of the Jedi (start to finish; I've seen a lot of it in chunks)
    Taxi Driver
    Raging Bull
    Apocalypse Now

I have, however, seen every Friday the 13th multiple times (except the latest remake), every Halloween, Young Guns and Young Guns II a couple dozen times apiece, and Rocky IV more times than I can count.

Also, since we're two pages in and no one has dropped this in yet, I might as well.
