I'm not "defending" anything except the proper definition of freedom of speech.

OK. Everyone should totally have the right to a captive audience.

Re-read the last three panels while thinking about what happened at Middlebury etc. To the degree that your comic represents your views, you are defending a ridiculously illiberal viewpoint.
Shutting down campus speech is a great way to lose an argument

"speak out" =/= "apply heckler's veto with real or threatened violence"

Jesus Christ. I'm not defending the way these campus kerfuffles have gone down. As we've documented before, we both have substantial issues with college administrators' and students' handling of various incidents.

But it still isn't a First Amendment issue.

It's akin to me saying Hillary Clinton should STFU and go away for a while. I'm not violating her "right to free speech."

BTW, who is booking these alt-right folks to speak on campus? Is it the Young Republicans? Or is their book publisher or PR person renting convention halls and doing it?

Maybe it's the rotten tomatoes manufacturers looking to unload product.

The surest way to know a post is not worth reading is if it gets a like from Ace AND Linky.

True, but that's not what your comic is necessarily saying. Taken one way, it's a nice little takedown of dipshits who think they should be not just allowed to say anything/anywhere/anytime but also free to do so without any consequences. Taken another way, however, it's saying that if "we" think you're an asshole, and "we" show you the door by getting your speech/concert/performance cancelled (perhaps by rioting or threatening to), then your right to free speech hasn't been infringed.
