    Dont they have to thin the herd at MLB and NFL to hire these folks?
    but if Stephen A makes 3.5M and the layed off people were making 200k you could fire Smith and retain 17 1/2 people. Viewers like Smith and don't value reporting

    The picture in the top right corner is the reason I don't watch Sportscenter anymore. I hate when they do crap like that. Unfunny people trying too hard to be funny.

    I took it to mean he thinks the demand for sportwriter content really is at an all-time high. A lot of people seem to cling to that belief. It's crazy talk.
