The celebration dance I had planned for his conviction would have dwarfed anything I did after Trump won/Hillary was defeated.

 

Duh.

 

I'm not of the belief those two things can simultaneously co-exist.

I'll tell you a story...

I moved to Houston from New York City for a job.

As I went about my job, I didn't hold people's hands, and tried to give them the facts as best as I could. Now, in New York, this was standard, and didn't cause a fuss.

But, in Houston, if you weren't going to give some salesman tickets to a sporting event because he couldn't justify it as well as someone else, you couldn't just tell him that. He you had to kiss his ass a little bit first.

At least, that was my side of the story.

Everyone else's story was that I was kind of a dick.

Now, as much as I didn't want to believe it, I kind of had no choice. If everyone thinks you're a dick, you're a dick.

And, so I made some changes, for the better I think.

Now, when I feel the need to be a dick, I log in here.

He's a little crazy now, and he allowed some low level corruption to go on under his nose by some top staffers, but I don't think he's done anything criminal himself.
