As a Tech fan, I'm thrilled to see Mahomes go as early as he did.
I don't get him going to the Chiefs though.
If you're KC, you trade way up to get him, only to have him sit the bench?
And it's not like what Smith runs, and what Mahomes runs are within 500 miles of each other.....

All of Washington is scratching its collective head this morning, wondering where this report came from.

By all accounts except this one, Kirk Cousins' name was not even mentioned last night.

    .
you could judge him on his talent and his potential going forward. But if you want to use records as a way to judge future success there should be Alabama QB's dominating the league right now

As a Cowboys fan with young kids, who doesn't follow CFB and never heard of any of these players before the last couple of months I'm just thrilled that they found a guy named Taco. Hope he can play.

So he should be judged by something beyond his inability to beat any good teams?
fair enough. They must have seen a lot in him to trade up in a thin QB draft right after giving Glennon a nice FA deal. Their track record of drafting and developing QBs is on par with their success with WRs. Hell, Walter Paytonbis still their career reception leader with fewer than 500 of if I'm not mistaken

Glennon's deal is only guaranteed for one year.

Chances are he will be a bust, who knows but I'm not judging him on how his college team performed. I have know idea how good their defense, oline and skill position players were. Were those losses on him? I really have no idea.

It's a fairly recent development that rookie QBs play right away. For guys like Trubisky, Mahomes and Watson, it would serve them and their teams well to give them time to develop. The Chiefs and Bears are actually smart to have a Plan A that doesn't include the rookie taking on too much.

Oh, I think Watson plays Week 1.
Everyone was convinced Hunt was trading up to 10 to get Foster.
They announce Mahomes, and Chiefs fans everywhere were like uh..............
