I don't care how good he played, I would never draft a quarterback who started only one season. This has Blaine Gabbert (one season as a starter) written all over it.

Can you think of a QB who only started one season and was any good in the NFL?

He may be. Again, it's a risky pick. But it has nothing to do with your "analysis."

    Does he play again?

Somebody's gonna get hurt and a phone call will be made.

    Right?

Does he want to play again? I've seen no indication that's the case.

I can't say whether Trubisky will be a bust or not. But when Mike Glennon is your QB of the future. You need to change the present.

A year ago, the Rams sent a boat load of draft pics to move up to 1 to get Jared Goff. Goff is a young man who literally has no idea if the sun rises in the east or west, never played the game taking a snap under center, and has the quarterback equivalent of a tin ear for knowing when 270 pound defensive ends are bearing down on him. And the kid who looked good from the very first snap in preseason, Dak Prescott, went in the fourth round.

I'm done trying to figure out what NFL teams look for in a qb.

I thought I saw something a couple of days ago that his agent said he's not done.

Although, that's a decision could be made for him.
