Undertaker was already well-established as a main eventer. Mankind, although the character was great, had fans wondering why the heck Vince didn't just allow Foley to be Cactus Jack. In other words, Taker helped Foley much more.

 

Being about 13 at the time I had no idea who Cactus Jack or Mick Foley was. Taking Mankind as he was, he helped make Taker into a more serious character, brought his violence and mean streak. I remember starting to think Taker was a little goofy and cartoony before that feud.

Mick/Mankind helped Taker reinvent himself for the coming new era.

 

As has been pointed out, they equally helped each other.

Taker was one of the last from the cartoony era of WWE, and he needed to be reinvented if he was going to be taken seriously as the Monday Night Wars began. Could you imagine if Taker hadn't changed at all?

I still don't get why Vince wouldn't let Foley compete as Cactus Jack, but had no issues with him as Mankind. It was more or less the same character, just a tad more deranged.

Foley helped Taker take the next step in his career progression, and Taker helped Foley become the star he was.

 

The answer is simple for me. And Mick has said it.

Taker, by letting Foley go over him in their first feud, helped make the character and therefore gave it life. Taker helped Foley more.

 

So worst "ppv" ever or worst ppv ever?

 

Everybody thought Jericho was going to lose to Owens so he could go on tour with Fozzy, so there's the twist. Maybe he loses it to someone like Joe tomorrow?

 

So at the end of the House of Horrors match it'll be revealed the Bray Wyatt was really Old Man McGillicuddy all along?

 

Is the House of Horrors right outside the arena? Are they going to fight inside the limo all the way back to the ring? Take an Uber?
So many questions.

If only Roddy Piper was still around. Would love to see Bray and Randy get back to the arena and have Roddy and Goldust still fighting in the background.

 

Is Seth Rollins' bad knee going to be the 21st century version of Cowboy Bob Orton's broken arm? Just perennially there, no matter how long it's been since the injury?
