Democrats loved the "swashbuckler" Andrew Jackson until about a minute ago.

But, let Trump express some admiration for him, and folks are going to melt down.

 

Those who have any doubt about the answer of "that question" are invited to read the third paragraph of the Texas Declaration of Secession. That document is very succinct about the reasoning involved.

 

He'd fit in well 'round here in that way.

 

He's doing a great job.

 

Hence, "had Andrew jackson been a little later."

I'm not saying he's right that Jackson could have prevented the Civil War, but the issues between the North and South were building since before the founding of the Union.

Trump doesn't make any claim that Jackson was around when the war began.

 

The Civil War had a longer preseason than the NFL.

 

Longer than the Super Bowl pre-game show.

 

Andrew Jackson was a racist SOB.

 

That's a stretch of a defense YF, even for you. You don't have to defend every stupid thing he says, you know?

 

Do you think that Trump has even the slightest idea of when Jackson was alive? Or anything else about his life for that matter?

 

Dems have been trying to whitewash Jackson out of their history for at least a decade.

 

Sure, he sent the Cherokee and others on the Trail of Tears, as the fake media called it. What they don't tell you is they were tears of joy for the opportunity of healthy exercise and to move to beautiful Oklahoma.
