Those laws are pretty much toast. You can't carry into a court of law or the state capital, but everywhere else is pretty much open anymore.

I remember that bars in Texas all used to have the same sign on the wall just inside the front door. No guns where alcohol is served.

If you walk into a bar in Texas now and don't have a pistol, they'll issue you one.

Out drinking with cousins in Dallas a few weeks ago, the assistant prosecuting attorney stashed his pistol in a lockbox under the seat when we transitioned from the restaurant to a straight-up bar. I assumed it was due to the law still being on the books.

Stupid law. should be able to carry if not consuming alcohol, not just because alcohol is served there.

    Seems about right.

As a CCL holder, I agree.

As a former bartender and former hardcore barfly, I disagree.

This is classic. If Trumpcare is so great, why don't you want it for yourselves?
Oh, yeah. Because it's unaffordable. Because if you develop any serious illness and you think health insurance will protect you, you will be mistaken and broke. And that's if you're lucky.
Do as we say, suckers. Not as we do.

They think they can shit on people with impunity and they'll keep getting voted back in. And many of them are right.

What if they decide to start drinking later on?

Same thing happened with Obamacare. These are our leaders.
