    By the way, are there any sources besides Kevin McCarthy who say the GOP has the votes for the AHCA?

    Because McCarthy is a grade-A chucklehead.

    I'm sure the Secretary of Education will step up and inform the president of this issue. Oh wait. It has nothing to do with getting money for religious education, so she doesn't care.

    You may remember it was DeVos' total lack of knowledge or interest in special education that caused Collins and Murkowski to vote against her confirmation.

    I forgot that detail, but that makes sense. Perhaps the White House is genuinely overlooking the impact on special education rather than just not giving a damn. That is where a competent Secretary of Education might come in handy.
