The Senate Intel Committee is getting serious about Trump's inner circle's Russia contacts.

"The Senate Intelligence Committee has asked Trump campaign associates to provide records of their communications with Russians as part of the committee's ongoing investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, per the NYT.

A partial list of those asked: Roger Stone, Carter Page, Paul Manafort, and Michael Flynn.

The deadlines: May 9 to provide a list of Russians they've met; May 19 to turn over all communication records with those Russians, including emails, texts, and phone calls — that accelerated timeline shows that the committee isn't messing around."

Trump associates to reveal their Russian contacts

These guys are going to have to be very careful about how they answer. If they try to conceal contacts they take the risk of getting nailed for perjury, given that the various intel agencies already know a lot about them.

While "I don't remember" is by far the best answer any witness can give, it can be risky if the questioner has evidence to help remind you.

This is getting to be a thing around here -- @Ace you're not the first offender, BTW -- when someone uses some real-world "version" of some concept as the definition of that concept. Social Security, for example, is technically the Old Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance program (funded by the Federal Insurance Contributions Act), but it's as much an insurance program as @YankeeFan is a grammarian.

It is true, of course, that even before Obamacare workplace-provided health insurance generally had unvarying premiums within a group. It is not true, however, that said premiums were not risk-based. Particularly for smaller groups, the premiums reflected the risks posed by those groups. Even Obamacare has some elements of risk pricing in it; tobacco users face a 50% surcharge.

I'm not sure that "I don't remember" covers texts and phone records. Doubly true if they "don't remember" calls and texts from burner phones that the CIA/NSA/FBI already have.

Anyone who went to medical school and even remotely embraces anti-vaxxers is at least 55 percent moron.

They'll follow the standard operating practice of the Fucko Administration and deny everything straight down the line, and claim any evidence to the contrary is fake.

Their further support of this argument will be a variation of, "is not, is too, is not, is too."

There is no reality. Nothing is real.
