I'm watching the Caps (for now) so I may soon drink every drop of Fireball in the joint.

Love it. That stuff goes down pretty easy though.

Peak of Ripeness, a citrusy IPA from Magnify. Last one, wish had some more.

Firestone Leo v Ursus. Good, but not very good. Wish Firestone had an IPA as good as some of their real good stouts, like Parabola and Velvet Merkin.

Breaking The Bank. last one of this very good collaboration between Magnify and Barrier. Long Island is kind of a hassle to visit from NJ, but would like to get to Barrier some time.

If your answer isn't bourbon today, it's wrong.

Jim Beam Black, the official bourbon of "I got hit with an unexpected car repair to begin Derby week."

Made sugar-free mint juleps (have my own mint-water solution) for the Derby. Used plain old Jim Beam because it's both plenty good enough for a julep and also the bourbon I drank when I first left the Bowash corridor and discovered much of America didn't even HAVE Scotch.
