The guy you voted for told us specifically that he was going to solve the violence in Chicago.

Any action taken on that front yet?

Especially when capacity is an issue, why would it be controversial to try and ensure your actual constituents can attend your town hall?

And, even more than that, why provide a forum for protestors from outside the district?

 

How fast did you expect him to solve this?

Fuck, we're sending more troops into Afghanistan because the last guy couldn't even hold on to our victories there (or in Iraq).

It's going to take longer than 100 days just to try and secure -- or decide to circumvent -- local leaders' cooperation.

He bolted when he got asked if he would still take donations from someone in another district. If you don't have the patience and chops to field moderately confrontational questions, maybe don't become a Congressman.

But, much of the violence is solvable.

I'll find the article about how gang members, arrested on gun charges, get spring on bail, only to commit more crimes, with a gun, while on bail.
