    In his interview with Lester Holt, Trump said he was going to fire Comey no matter what Rosenstein recommended. This contradicts the statements yesterday by members of his administration including the Vice-President.

    It's just a bad analogy. Congress isn't the board of directors for the executive branch. The federal government is not structured like a corporation. Congress has the powers the Constitution provides it. Firing the CEO is not the same as impeachment.

    Congress has oversight of the executive branch which cannot operate without Congressional appropriations. The House has a Committee on Oversight. MacArthur, facing a hostile crows (to his credit), slipped and said something stupid. Trying to defend Trump can lead to that.
