Which Phillip may be realizing after his meeting with the priest who asked for extended meetings and he was forced to say he had no time for that kind of a thing.

It was interesting that after scoffing at the priest for suggesting he'd pray more, Phillip actually took a beat to consider it when the priest suggested it was a release. I wonder if we see Phillip turn to Paige's pastor and we start to see that facade really crumble.

Philip is slowly looking for a way out of the life or at least contemplating and end game. He realizes that Henry couldn't live survive in Russia. Paige is not a spy and soon both of them will realize that if Paige gets into this life she'll be fucking random guys for a map or a key.

If there's a point to this show it will be the choice between the soon to crumbling USSR and the soon to be crumbling family.

It was a lovely wedding between Mikhail and Nadezhda. G-rated honeymoon in the darkroom, however.

I thought the wedding was a neat little thing. You can see the two bio engineers they are working is starting to wear on them and they'd rather not have to pursue romantic involvements with others anymore. Especially after Claudia tells them they may have to keep them going for years, you can see it on their faces their hearts aren't in it.

I'm a little curious what the KGB has on Burov. His partner makes a good point: They would not have dared to search his father's place if they didn't have something on him. Makes you wonder what the CIA has let leak or if Burov wasn't as careful as he thought getting rid of evidence.

Any chance they were looking for something on Olegs dad that we don't know about yet?

Paige needs to tell the good pastor, "Mom and Dad saved a country from starvation that was to be caused by the monsters in this country!" At least that's what she's been led to believe.

Finally caught the most recent episode. I thought that last scene was really interesting, even if it was just them standing in a darkroom. It told me two things:

    1. Paige is officially in, whether her parents meant for it to happen or not.

    2. Pastor Tim has to go (i.e. be killed), something I have been saying for awhile.

One thing that has continued to be odd to me is how Henry is NEVER around. I think I've seen him like twice this season - once when he was playing video games with his friends and again when he asked his parents to go to that boarding school. It looks like we will see more of him this week, but it feels like it has been an often-used out for them to just say he is "at Chris's house."

At least they always ask about him ("Where's Henry?") just about every episode. Even if they never, you know, actually parent him.

It's like Walt Jr. on Breaking Bad. All he did was eat breakfast.

And the boarding school story line is a convenient excuse to get Henry out of the house full-time for the final season. Whatever works, I guess.

Reminds me of Lisa Bonet on The Cosby Show. Bill Cosby hated her so much he created a show for her just to get her off his show.

Quick question for the viewing public:

How many of you will be watching the episode live tonight?

I don't think I have ever watched a live episode of this show, and it is one of my current favorites. I always have to DVR it and try to catch it when I can because time with Lacey Underall is limited as it is. But even if I were free on a Tuesday night, I still think I'd wait until the next day.
