    They've had nothing but rain the last few years. That's why they moved it from April to May.

    Took 2 weeks away from drinking and broke it tonight with an Old Fashioned. Good choice.

    Prairie Artisan Barrel Aged Bomb. excellent. 11.2 % but like a dessert drink.

    Tonight we're hosting a dinner party for six, so it will be strawberry-basil margaritas for cocktails. Marinate ripe strawberries with the basil overnight in agave tequila. Make batch of regular margaritas with tequila and frozen mix, then add the strawberries after you've strained out the basil. Serve.

    Volunteering at a local spot's Cask Ale Festival. Should be a fun time, have been there several times as a customer. Supposed to be perfect weather, low 70s with mainly sunny skies. Good for an outdoor event here in May.

    Same here in Ohio for weather, just awesome day to drink at the Beer & Bacon fest.
    A few highlights included
    - a Sour Robust Porter with Sausage Spices added
    - Cherry Maple Saison
    - Honey Bacon Dubbel
    - PB, Banana and Bacon Porter (Called Houndog in honor of the Elvis sandwich)
